We are all very proud of your accomplishments to date.
My advice is to always follow your gut instincts, look fear right in the face and walk through it, love those who support you through thick and thin, do no harm and laugh often and hard.
You are a great son in law and I am always here for you if you need a gentle ‘kick in the pants’ or a word of encouragement.
Once you get all things in order (lol) we will make time for another good round of golf.
For now, stay the course and stop procrastinating.

I think you have what it takes to make a difference to people’s perception of insects. Your enthusiasm and scientific mindset shine through. My advice (as someone who’s probably old enough to be your mother :-) so I’m allowed to dispense unsolicited advice) is don’t have a plan. But make damn sure you recognise an open door and step through it. Support your colleagues and friends. Take chances. Don’t be afraid of having no money (but do learn budgeting…makes life so much less stressful).

Ahem…sorry…got a bit carried away there. Enjoy 2015 and may it bring happiness and success.
